He said, "Kurigram is a backward region. Some religious causes worked as resist for learning dance. None is interested to learn the dance due to economic matter. Many students wants to be performer, but do not want to be artist. They only perform for a hobby. But there is a great want of professionalism here".
He said, "The dance-learning may be suspended here if I stop the culture. I am being aged but none is being trained up as a trainer in the culture here. As a result my daughter (Binita Alam) is being made as a trainer such that she can keep the continuation in my absence".
But I want to have involved and want to work with the dance culture up to death such that a well organization of dance is made in Kurigram, he added.
